  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or combination of education and relevant IT experience
  • 4+ years' experience in Python programming
  • 4+ years' experience in software engineering
  • 2+ years' experience in at least one of the following: Angular, React or Vue.js
  • 2+ years' experience in at least one of the following: Java or Node.js
  • At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, or another cloud service
  • At least 1 year of experience in building micro frontends and/or micro services

Responsibilities

  • Produce scalable software solutions utilizing a range of different technologies and languages (such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, C#) to develop applications approaching software holistically in order to cater to both user experience and functionality
  • Involved in all stages of software development, including front-end development, back-end development, database integrations, network and hosting management, user interface, user experience, and back-end server management
  • Work with a team of developers with deep experience in frontend technologies, distributed microservices, and full stack systems
  • Work across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
  • Work with cloud native stack, build on Azure, AWS, or Google, use technologies like Kubernetes
  • Write effective REST APIs and technical documentation
  • Write automated test cases to ensure correctness, responsiveness, and efficiency of the software product
  • Provide expertise to influence project, initiative, and maintenance technical direction during discovery, planning, and implementation stages
  • Maintain modern development standards with best-practice approaches and development processes
