Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
  • 5-8+ years of experience in corporate/operations finance, investment banking, or management consulting
  • Clear understanding of GAAP accounting; SaaS experience a plus
  • High aptitude and excellent analytical skills for complex problem solving and financial modeling
  • Superior attention to detail with the highest levels of consistency and accuracy in work
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey financial concepts to both financial and non-financial audiences
  • Complete proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Tableau, Coupa, Adaptive Insights Planning, and NetSuite a plus
  • Bonus: Technology sector and/or high growth public company experience
  • Bonus: Knowledge of SaaS finance and accounting metrics
  • Bonus: Experience using big data, such as extracting value from large, disconnected and/or unstructured datasets

Responsibilities

  • Drive the financial budgeting and forecasting cycle by partnering with business leaders across the CIO organization, including Operations, Security, GTM, Data & AI, and Shared Services
  • Support month-end close activities including budget versus actuals, accruals, and reporting
  • Work on special projects to drive process improvements and efficiencies
  • Develop meaningful analytics and reporting for various department leaders
  • Lead annual AOP process for CIO, using a bottoms-up, zero-based budget approach for both operating expenses and headcount
  • Provide data and analyses for driving financial forecasting, budgeting, and ad-hoc analyses to inform decision making by the CIO and CrowdStrike’s executive leadership team
  • Work with various teams and leaders across the organization, including Accounting, Financial Systems, Data Analytics, and Resiliency
