The Sr. ETL Developer should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in ETL development, with a strong focus on data warehousing and cloud-based platforms. Experience with Snowflake is required, along with proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are also essential.
As a Sr. ETL Developer, you will craft and optimize sophisticated Snowflake SQL queries for efficient data processing and analysis, diagnose and resolve query-related issues, design and implement queries tailored for applications and business intelligence reporting needs, tackle data quality challenges, utilize data aggregation and modeling techniques to create comprehensive reports in Domo, conduct in-depth data analysis to drive business performance improvements, evaluate and select optimal data sources, and work as a team player while also demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal direction. Additionally, you will perform performance tuning by reviewing existing SQL Queries, Execution Plans, Partitions, and Index(s) to determine performance.
