Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years experience developing production C++ code (C++17 and newer preferred)
- Experience developing embedded software targeting both Linux and RTOS
- Experience developing systems with safety and real-time requirements
- Experience implementing feedback control systems
- Experience with communication interfaces including CAN, UART, I2C, and Ethernet
- Track record of taking vaguely defined problems and converting them into robust production solutions
Responsibilities
- Develop software for robot powertrain components and functions
- Design and implement systems for measuring system performance and efficiency
- Work closely with systems, electrical, and mechanical teams to architect robust cross-functional solutions
- Support integration of new hardware components and bringup of new platforms
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team members
