Requirements

Qualification according to NIV Art. 9 as an electrical installation and safety expert with a federal diploma (electrician HFP)
Holder of a control permit in accordance with NIV Art. 27 with the willingness to complete the further training in accordance with NIV Art. 9
Proven several years of professional experience in a large-scale industrial environment, ideally in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry
Sound knowledge of dealing with authorities, especially the Federal Inspectorate for Heavy Current (ESTI)
Strong negotiation skills and confident appearance in the regulatory environment
Analytical solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong multi-functional collaboration skills
Experience in a collaborative and inclusive work environment
Ability to compete and thrive in a fast-paced setting
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

Organisation and coordination of electrical inspections, including acceptance and periodic inspections (e.g. random inspections) in collaboration with external inspection companies
Examination of incoming safety certificates in accordance with the currently applicable standards and regulations
Planning and organisation of required machine inspections in compliance with SN EN 60204-1, Chapter 17.8
Organization of the legally required inspections of small appliances in compliance with SNR 462638
Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements in close coordination with the operator – with a special focus on efficient and cost-effective implementation
Testing and approval of all conversions and new installations of medium and low voltage systems
Organization and execution supervision of preventive maintenance of medium and low-voltage systems
Organization and supervision of the legally required training of internal and external personnel with access to the electrical installations
