Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. They should have a strong computer science background, expertise in applying software development lifecycle principles within application development, and advanced proficiency in statistical and generic programming languages such as R, Python, and SQL. Advanced proficiency in frameworks including R/Shiny, Shiny for Python, React, and web programming languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and node.js is also required. Demonstrated skills in agile development and deployment pipelines with CI/CD fundamentals are necessary, along with preferred experience building apps within the Databricks Apps Environment and knowledge of technical areas such as Snowflake, Databricks, Spark.

Responsibilities

As a Sr. Data Scientist, the individual will utilize advanced machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI frameworks to innovate enterprise applications, adhering to software development lifecycle foundations to design, develop, and deploy web and mobile applications built to solve complex business challenges. They will identify meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources in support of continuous improvement efforts and business process upgrades through exploratory data analysis, apply time management skills to deliver successful software products within timelines, collaborate effectively with multi-functional customers and peers to identify business challenges and present proposed solutions, and demonstrate creativity in identifying optimized user experiences for customer success in adoption.
