About the Product Group: Counter Adversary Operations (CAO)

The Counter Adversary Operations (CAO) Team is a first-of-its-kind team that integrates CrowdStrike Falcon® Intelligence and the CrowdStrike® Falcon OverWatch™ threat hunting team to disrupt today's adversaries and ultimately increase their cost of doing business. Both threat hunting and intelligence operations are essential for detecting, disrupting, and stopping today's adversaries. CrowdStrike Counter Adversary Operations leverages the power of both, along with trillions of telemetry events from the AI-powered CrowdStrike Falcon® platform, to act quickly and intensify its impact on adversary activity. CrowdStrike's deep adversary knowledge, expertise in pursuing and stopping threats, and visibility derived from the Falcon platform uniquely qualify us to deliver the most effective method of stopping breaches and protecting customers.

About the Role: Senior Cloud Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Software Engineer to architect, build, and operate globally distributed, fault-tolerant, and highly scalable cloud ecosystems. What You'll Do

Drive System Reliability & Resilience:

• Architect and build robust, globally distributed, fault-tolerant, and highly scalable cloud systems.
• Define, monitor, and achieve Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for critical services, leveraging error budgets.

Enhance Observability & Operational Efficiency:

• Implement robust monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing solutions to proactively identify and address system issues.
• Drive initiatives to optimize cloud resource utilization and reduce operational costs (COGS) without compromising reliability or performance.
• Automate operational tasks, deployments, and incident response procedures to improve efficiency and reduce manual toil.

Contribute to Engineering Excellence:

• Work on and enrich backend microservices – from researching areas of concern to implementing the final solution.
• Leverage existing CrowdStrike tools and services to build cloud-based systems that detect targeted attacks.
• Brainstorm, research, define, communicate, and build collaboratively with members across multiple teams.
• Maintain a strong focus on Quality of Coding through Best Practices, comprehensive Testing, and robust Observability.
• Be prepared to mentor other developers on our system.
• Work in a collaborative & Agile environment with a small, fast-moving team, with the autonomy to own your work.
