Responsibilities

  • Maintain the highest level of knowledge and up-to-date medical/scientific documents regarding current disease state, product knowledge (including competitor products), regulations, and policies
  • Disseminate scientifically balanced medical information in response to customers' unsolicited requests that meet local requirements
  • Ensure all appropriate sources are used to answer inquiries, prioritizing GML (Global Medical Letter), published articles in scientific journals (e.g., PubMed, OVID), Global Inquiries Database (e.g., Veeva Vault MedComms, Docuvera), and Global Medical Communication-Information via GCC
  • Log all inquiries into the GCC (Global Contact Center) service request system to track status, answers, and responsibility
  • Report any adverse events contained in requests to Pharmacovigilance Associate/Sr. Associate within 24 hours
  • Participate in promotional and educational material development plan meetings with the brand team at the planning stage
  • Review all promotional and educational materials for medical accuracy and compliance, including checking "Data on file" and references via VVPM (Veeva Vault Promotional Material)
  • Conduct local periodic reviews and approvals of promotional and educational materials at intervals of no more than two years via VVPM in accordance with local MIS SOP Promotional and Educational material SOP
  • Share good information and knowledge from external customers and internal employees
  • Train medical representatives on the value and mission of MIS in various meetings
  • Provide therapeutic/disease training to MRs and Marketing group on a need basis
  • Develop educational materials for patients related to PSP programs (e.g., slides, videos)
