Candidates must have a B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a similar degree program and at least one previous internship or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java is required, along with a good understanding of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design principles. Experience with version control and unit testing is also necessary. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Software Engineers will develop and extend the Sentry product by writing software in Python or JavaScript. They will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and operating in production. Engineers will communicate effectively with team members, other teams, and stakeholders, and will act on feedback, coaching, and mentorship from their manager and teammates.
