Requirements

  • 3+ years of Software Engineering experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in development languages including but not limited to: Python, FastAPI, LangGraph, SQL, Docker, AWS, GitHub Actions, UNIX
  • Proficiency with data manipulation languages and understanding of data modeling principles
  • Ability to work with complex data models
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Knowledge of test-driven development and industry best practices such as code coverage
  • Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources
  • Good oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Tech Lead to solve moderate complexity software engineering problems
  • Build new features and improve existing ones for our Learning Management System
  • Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity
  • Review code from other engineers and provide constructive feedback
  • Complete moderately complex bug fixes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery
  • Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders
  • Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews
  • Keep abreast of new technology developments
  • All other duties as assigned
