We aim to make rent payment flexible, accessible, and less burdensome for renters by allowing them to pay rent throughout the month according to their financial schedules. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our mission to empower renters with greater control over their finances.
As a Software Engineer at Flex, you will be instrumental in implementing the backend systems that power all our business features. You will be part of the backend engineering team, responsible for the services and integrations that drive our products, including Payments, Billing, Identity, and partner integrations. Your role will involve designing, developing, testing, and scaling systems to deliver exceptional user and partner experiences.
You will collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering peers to address the most critical challenges renters face with rent payments. You will deploy changes to customers in an agile manner, prioritizing small, frequent iterations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading the scoping, design, and implementation of APIs, and driving their production rollouts with minimal supervision.
The salary compensation range for this role will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and Flex's internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks.
