Software Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain high-performance and low-latency software systems for model calculation, data analysis, algorithmic trading, risk, and P&L management. This role involves designing, optimizing, and maintaining critical trading databases, as well as supporting and troubleshooting trading applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance and low-latency software systems for model calculation and data analysis, algorithmic trading, risk and P&L management.
• Design, optimize, and maintain databases storing critical trading data.
• Maintain, support, and troubleshoot critical trading applications.
• Develop automated tests with reasonable error rate and tolerance.
• Collaborate with quantitative analysts, traders, and team members to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Apply industry knowledge and technical skills in new and innovative ways.
• Encourage the use of best practices throughout the development process.
• Participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or Information Science.
• At least 3 months of experience through an internship in Python, coding using C++, and financial data analysis techniques and financial modeling.
• Alternatively, at least 3 credit hours at the bachelor's level of coursework requiring use of Python, coding using C++, and financial data analysis techniques and financial modeling.
