Requirements

Candidates should have extensive practical experience showcasing mastery of Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or Django/Python web frameworks. Expertise in developing single-page and progressive web applications, excellent SQL skills with familiarity in relational database design, and hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform are required. Experience deploying and operating services on AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms, comfort with MVC, MVVM, and microservices architectures, and excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are also essential.

Responsibilities

The Full Stack Software Engineer will scale distributed web applications, make architectural trade-offs, and apply synchronous and asynchronous design patterns. They will own the end-to-end development of the BuiltByZoom progressive web application, write clean and maintainable code, and champion Test-Driven Development. Responsibilities include partnering with product managers, designers, and QA, iterating quickly on real-time audio/video communication solutions, fostering a supportive team environment, staying current with emerging technologies, and keeping the end user front of mind to deliver seamless experiences.
