Requirements

Familiarity with at least one of the following languages: Scala, or Python; and SQL
Familiarity with at least one of the following: Spark, Hive, or Presto
Familiarity with machine learning (ML) methods and their application at scale
Familiarity with at least one of the following cloud providers: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Compute (GCP), or Microsoft Azure
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 3 years related work experience
Desirable Skills
Familiarity with the Scala programming language and the Python programming language
Familiarity with Databricks and Apache Airflow products
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Terraform, and infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of machine learning (ML) models in a cloud environment
Promote and support Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Scrumban by actively participating in regular ceremonies such as stand-up, retrospectives and sprint planning
Collaborate with your squad, Product Managers, Designers, QA, Operations, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and articulate technical decisions and outcomes
Write and review code
Contribute to technical and architectural decisions
Collaborate with squad and partners across Product, Project Management, and Engineering
Influence the roadmap
Work within agile and CI/CD practices
