Requirements
Candidates should possess experience in the fields of Software Testing, Test Automation, and/or Software Development with an advanced level of Test Automation, totaling 3+ years of experience. They should have experience in Cucumber or Selenium framework or similar, along with working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, and experience with API/Service layer testing using tools like Postman. Mobile testing and automation experience using frameworks such as Appium, XCUI, and Espresso is also required, alongside familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Strong team collaboration and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to solve complex test automation tasks and perform test automation tool evaluations.
Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer - Test Automation, you will contribute to the creation of automation test scripts, work to reduce the test automation backlog, collaborate with leads to define metrics for code quality in the test automation suite, review code written by team members and suggest optimizations, create an automation test plan and review it with functional QA, create, enhance, debug, and run test cases, organize and monitor defect management processes, handle changes, and conduct regression tests. You will also find solutions for issues related to object identity and error handling, coordinate with business and the development team to resolve issues, create software defect tracking reports, analyze failures and identify root causes, and communicate project release status to stakeholders.
