Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional full-stack software development experience specifically in React and Java
  • Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, handle ambiguity, and empathize with customers
  • Product mindset: curious about user behavior, driven to improve the user experience, and motivated by business impact
  • Hybrid role requiring work from headquarters in Seattle, WA every Tuesday and Wednesday, remote other days
  • Previous experience working on A/B-experimentation teams (a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain high-impact features that convert website visitors into home buyers, sellers, and mortgage customers
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, analysts, and other engineers to shape the user journey from first click to customer
  • Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on experiments that drive measurable improvements in conversion and engagement
  • Own the full lifecycle of features, from technical design and implementation to monitoring and optimization
  • Help shape the team’s technical direction and contribute to decisions around architecture, tooling, and best practices
  • Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and foster a culture of learning and collaboration
