Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse
Expert proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse
Strong understanding of data modeling and ETL processes
Experience with SQL and data querying techniques
Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and data integration tools
Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing data warehouse performance

Responsibilities

Architect, design, and implement scalable Snowflake data warehouse solutions based on business requirements
Develop, test, and maintain robust ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into the Snowflake environment
Build and optimize logical and physical data models to ensure data integrity and performance
Optimize the Snowflake environment for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability; monitor and tune queries for high performance
Implement role-based security, encryption, and other data governance protocols to ensure data privacy and security compliance
Automate recurring tasks and implement best practices for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance using scripting languages like Python, Shell, or SnowSQL
Collaborate with data architects, BI developers, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights
Integrate Snowflake with various data sources such as cloud-based storage, relational databases, APIs, and external data providers
Maintain thorough documentation of designs, ETL processes, and best practices
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Collaborate and manage the team to perform tasks
Be responsible for team decisions
Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions
Provide solutions to problems for immediate team and across multiple teams
Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities
Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues
Document processes and solutions to create a knowledge base
