Requirements

  • Experience with SAP is required; Navision, QAD, Oracle, JD Edwards Financial Software a plus
  • Strong prior experience in Shared Services or Global Business Services preferred in an Accounts Payable function (min. 2 years)
  • Good understanding of Accounts Payable principles, preferably end-to-end
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Analytical skills to handle Excels, Pivots and other applications
  • Strong interpersonal, communication skills
  • Professional and customer focused with attention to detail
  • Experience in high volume, multi entity, multi-currency processing function
  • Understanding and appreciation of audit, SOX requirements
  • Experience in supporting & guiding teams is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Complete and review month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries
  • Ensure aged items on general/sub ledgers are cleared on time and overall balance meets accounting requirements
  • Reduce GR/IR items on monthly basis
  • Successfully implement and enforce accounting policies and procedures to maintain accurate financial records
  • Provide mentorship and support to the accounts payable team, ensuring their professional development
  • Participate in SOX audit internal and external requests
