Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in site surveying or a similar role
  • 2+ years of experience with customer-facing/sales background
  • Proficiency in software (Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS)
  • Familiarity with fiber to the prem construction
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and site development
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be willing to travel to project sites
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Related Engineering degree

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site surveys using GPS, pictures, videos and other applicable equipment and applications
  • Initiating and managing negotiations with building or private property stakeholders to secure entrance rights
  • Collect and analyze data to support design and construction planning, to include inbuilding details and facility entrance
  • Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings using CAD and or GIS software
  • Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure survey data aligns with project requirements
  • Identify potential site constraints and provide recommendations for mitigation
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to land use and construction as well as NESC compliance on pole attachments
  • Maintain accurate records of survey data and project documentation
  • Assist in the development of site layouts and utility plans
