Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years working with the ServiceNow platform
  • Proven experience in ServiceNow implementation, customization, and integration
  • Experience in a leadership or architectural role within a complex IT environment
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) preferred
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ITSM, ITOM) are a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and architecture
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow development (JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP APIs)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the overall architectural blueprint of the ServiceNow platform
  • Ensure the platform architecture aligns with industry best practices and organizational standards
  • Design scalable and secure solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the ServiceNow platform
  • Lead the implementation of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and others as required
  • Oversee the integration of ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and applications
  • Ensure data consistency and integrity across the platform and integrated systems
  • Oversee the customization of ServiceNow applications to meet specific business needs
  • Lead the development of custom applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform
  • Ensure all customizations and developments are properly documented and maintainable
  • Establish and enforce platform governance and best practices
  • Conduct regular reviews of platform performance, scalability, and security
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and organizational policies
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the development and administrative teams
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders on platform strategy and performance
  • Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and industry trends
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation using the ServiceNow platform
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the user experience and overall efficiency of the platform
