Requirements

  • Strong experience in ServiceNow ITSM modules and lifecycle testing
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP APIs, LDAP, SSO)
  • Proficient in ServiceNow scripting using JavaScript and Glide APIs
  • Experience testing custom-built applications on the ServiceNow platform
  • Familiarity with Agile testing methodologies and tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ServiceNow ITSM modules
  • Perform end-to-end testing of ServiceNow ITSM workflows including Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management, and Knowledge Management
  • Test and validate integrations between ServiceNow and external systems (e.g., LDAP, email, monitoring tools, CMDB feeds)
  • Collaborate with development and implementation teams to test custom applications and ServiceNow configurations
  • Utilize ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions) to support test automation and validation efforts
  • Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools; work closely with developers to resolve issues
  • Conduct regression testing and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Analyze functional and technical specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Provide recommendations to improve test processes and ServiceNow functionalities
  • Support deployment activities by validating functionality in development, test, and production environments
