Responsibilities

Configure, manage, and optimize Splunk dashboards, alerts, searches, and data onboarding
Design, develop, and maintain ITRS Geneos Gateway configurations, rules, and monitoring templates
Implement monitoring automation, including threshold tuning, alert optimization, and KPI tracking
Develop scripts in Python and Shell to automate repetitive operational tasks and data processing
Work with stakeholders to analyze monitoring requirements and translate them into actionable configurations
Troubleshoot monitoring issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution
Support performance monitoring, log analysis, and event correlation activities
Assist in expanding observability capabilities across Unix/Linux platforms
Maintain documentation, operational runbooks, and monitoring configuration guidelines
