Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, or a related technical field, along with 5+ years of thorough knowledge of Windows deployment, administration, networking, performance monitoring/tuning, security hardening, troubleshooting, and production operations. They must also have experience in 24/7 environments and be knowledgeable of Windows Servers 2016 – 2022 and Active Directory, with familiarity of basic Linux commands and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).

Responsibilities

The Senior Windows Engineer will interact with all IT functional areas, including Architecture, Design, Licensing, Helpdesk/Desktop Support, and Application Development, working in a dynamic, heterogeneous environment. They will be responsible for troubleshooting, monitoring, maintenance, and networking, conducting audits, delivering training, and advising management on HR-related risk mitigation strategies. The role requires working some weekend shifts in support of maintenance, participating in on-call rotations for overnights, weekends, and holidays, and maintaining system configuration using tools like PowerShell and Ansible, alongside system monitoring using SNMP, Nagios, OMD, and HPE One View, and familiarity with ticket systems such as Remedy and Jira.
