Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field; or equivalent related professional experience
  • At least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity with an emphasis towards cyber threat intelligence
  • Knowledge of cyber threat intelligence lifecycle and related functional expertise to tailor solutions to a given environment
  • Ability to align solutions with business requirements as well as create innovative approaches to address enterprise security requirements
  • Creative thinker with exceptional skills (inferred from truncated description)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct operational and strategic research to analyze and disseminate timely, actionable, relevant intelligence for key stakeholders and decision makers
  • Work closely with enterprise stakeholders and consult with various functional teams relating to threats and risks to determine impact and mitigation
  • Comprehend and analyze data and trends in an evolving cyber threat landscape to recommend effective courses of action at various levels in the organization
  • Develop and maintain expertise in a variety of technology platforms, threat vectors, and threat actors in order to track cyber campaigns using internal and external data
  • Apply knowledge of cyberattack analysis and cyber kill chain framework to improve mitigating controls and profile advanced threat adversaries
  • Conduct technical analysis on threat adversary exploits, to include indicator extraction, signature development, network traffic analysis, and malware analysis
  • Partner with peer teams by providing all-source threat intelligence and analysis, context, and reasoning to address gaps and drive appropriate action
  • Identify high risk threats and oversee continuous threat intelligence-based monitoring
  • Serve as a catalyst to bring stakeholders together to address findings and risks of third-party suppliers and supply chain security risks
  • Identify improvements to current threat intelligence practices and procedures
  • Coordinate with external peer groups and information security circles on cyber threats and trends
