Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, and/or PhD degree(s) (or equivalent experience) in Computer Engineering or Science, along with 8+ years of experience in security systems management for software and hardware products
  • Excellent knowledge of systems and application security
  • Familiarity with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS methodologies
  • Proficiency in software development (e.g., C, C++, Java, Golang, Python)
  • Strong understanding of web application infrastructure and UNIX-based operating systems, with a focus on security aspects of application and operating system platforms
  • Proven experience in performing security requirements analyses, developing threat models, conducting event reviews, detailing relevant mitigation techniques, applying application security composition patterns, implementing standard security algorithms and protocols, and performing security testing and penetration testing
  • Applicable knowledge of technologies such as web service and web application authentication, authorization, and federation protocols, as well as virtualization platforms, emulation, and container-based software
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills to work effectively across multiple teams

Responsibilities

  • Partner with product and engineering teams to support, develop, and manage NVIDIA products, such as AI applications and cloud-based solutions
  • Drive security processes within the engineering development teams
  • Craft and develop tools and systems that align with prevention, detection, and response security functions
  • Perform security assessments and conduct threat and vulnerability analysis
  • Integrate tools into the build pipeline to identify security weaknesses early in the software development process
  • Advocate for implementing AI tools to enhance the security of our product offerings
  • Develop, deploy, and operate systems to address challenges around application security, vulnerability patch automation, intrusion detection, continuous monitoring, and more
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering and development lifecycle processes, mentor engineering staff, and develop and deliver security training sessions for engineers
  • Triage, review, and prioritize security findings, providing hands-on security engineering expertise across various technology platforms, assessing risk, crafting fixes, and implementing them in collaboration with our development and QA staff
  • Assist in handling security incidents and working with our software security response team
