Responsibilities

  • Integrate a steady stream of new third-party devices (such as microplate sealers, tube handlers, and detection platforms) onto our systems
  • Develop drivers to control those devices from the Beckman scheduling software to be used as part of a larger experiment
  • Add new accessories or features to our existing liquid handling platforms
  • Create robotic work cells, building off our library of existing device integrations, as well as adding any newly developed products or integrations
  • Create and manage the requirements for multiple projects
  • Help learn how to work with new devices
  • Create and perform tests to ensure our integrations meet the user needs
  • Generate guides for the end user and Beckman Coulter’s global network of field service personnel
  • Become experts in our integration technology, helping our Technical Support team should difficulties arise
