Requirements

Candidates should possess over 5 years of experience developing web-based applications and have experience with a modern front-end framework like Ember, Angular, React, or Vue. Experience writing REST/JSON APIs, software tests, and the ability to independently solve technical problems are essential. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred, along with a strong motivation for continuous learning and hard work. Experience with Node.JS, modern ES6 or TypeScript, Ember.JS, and SaaS web applications is also highly desirable, as is bonus experience with Docker or Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will build and ship product features end-to-end, write clear and well-defined design documentation, and lead application architecture decisions. They will mentor fellow engineers, troubleshoot and debug software bugs, and implement back-end APIs using Node.JS, while also working on the Ember SPA front-end. Responsibilities include collaborating with engineers, designers, and product managers, participating in an Agile development life cycle, and writing well-designed, maintainable, and testable code. The role requires being product-minded, thinking about the customer, and working with technologies such as JavaScript, Node.JS, Ember, Python, Docker, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes.
