Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong preference for experience in cloud infrastructure or security integrations. Experience with cloud marketplaces (GCP, AWS, Azure) and familiarity with vulnerability scanners and observability tools are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will design and develop technical integrations to connect Chainguard products with partner platforms, including cloud marketplaces, vulnerability scanners, and observability providers. They will build and maintain the security advisory system, own integrations with major cloud platforms, support a wide array of integration targets, and collaborate with external partners as a technical influencer. Additionally, they will mentor peers, improve team processes, and guide architectural decisions, while also contributing to product launches and new initiatives.
