Product Security Engineer

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, and have at least 7 years of experience in product security engineering, with a strong focus on application security. Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is highly desirable, as is knowledge of secure development practices and methodologies. Strong understanding of common web application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10) and security testing techniques is required.
The Senior Product Security Engineer will identify potential misuse and abuse cases within GoodLeap products, propose features to address these scenarios, and define product features to meet resilience requirements. They will also manage application security controls and activities during development, oversee security measures for deployed products, and represent all areas of security for the business unit(s) they are embedded in, spanning governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) to security monitoring. Furthermore, this role involves working closely with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure the safety and resilience of GoodLeap’s products and services.
