The role requires hands-on experience with Java-based microservices, OpenTelemetry (OTEL) for observability including tracing, metrics, and logging, and collaboration with DevOps teams on tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger, or Tempo.
You'll join the backend engineering team and collaborate with platform and DevOps teams, with opportunities to mentor junior engineers.
Strong candidates will have hands-on OTEL experience, expertise in designing scalable Java microservices, and the ability to implement observability best practices while mentoring others.
