Requirements

Candidates should possess a proven track record as a Senior Software Engineer with experience in product development, including building high-traffic APIs and services. Strong proficiency in Ruby, TypeScript/Node.js, relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), non-relational databases (e.g. dynamoDB), event-driven systems (e.g. SNS/SQS, RMQ, Kafka), Docker, Kubernetes, and enterprise-level distributed system architecture is required. Working knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is also necessary, along with experience with serverless architectures and systems programming languages (Rust or Go) as a plus.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop industry-leading IAM capabilities, design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and backend features, and consider cohesive solutions that encompass individual components and the overall user experience. They will identify and resolve issues quickly to maintain high customer satisfaction, use data analytics to guide product decisions and feature improvements, and participate in shaping the team to enhance development processes and the domain. Furthermore, they will employ continuous development methods and demonstrate initiative, curiosity, and a strong sense of ownership while balancing strategic thinking with effective problem-solving.
