Responsibilities

  • Develop competency across complete web technologies stack (client framework and backend services)
  • Weigh architectural trade-offs and apply synchronous/asynchronous design patterns
  • Produce high-quality software that is unit-tested, code-reviewed, regression-tested, checked in regularly for CI/CD, while mentoring junior developers
  • Become a technology/development leader contributing to organization-wide initiatives
  • Dissect requirements, architect solutions, and estimate work for new business requirements
  • Quickly debug and resolve production issues for long-term stability
  • Initiate, plan, and execute large-scale, cross-functional, org-wide critical programs
  • Display ownership, leverage technical leadership for engineering best practices, and evangelize productivity improvements
  • Architect and implement scalable, responsive, accessible UI components using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js)
  • Delve into backend systems (Java) and customize functionality stably and performantly
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers for seamless user experiences
  • Drive UI and backend performance optimization and ensure cross-browser compatibility
  • Lead code reviews, establish/enforce best practices, contribute to continuous improvement culture
