Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have at least 7 years of experience in front-end software development, with a strong focus on digital product development. Experience with mobile and desktop application development, vehicle connectivity solutions, and mapping services is highly desirable. Familiarity with production, inventory, and planning optimization systems is also beneficial.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and enhancement of Scout Motors’ software products, including mobile and desktop applications, vehicle connectivity solutions, and mapping services. You will work with engineering managers, staff engineers, and cross-functional partners to design the technical underpinnings of these products, translate requirements into technical specifications, and deliver complex and large-scale technical efforts. Additionally, you will act as a technical mentor and leader for other engineers, collaborating with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of interoperable products and systems, while also assessing and recommending key tools and technologies.
