Candidates should possess 8 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or principal role, particularly in R&D or advanced technical domains. Strong expertise in C and C++ for low-level, system programming on Windows platforms is required, alongside an in-depth understanding of operating system internals, including threading, memory management, I/O, and high-performance coding techniques. Experience developing kernel drivers or similar low-level system components is highly desirable, and a solid understanding of security best practices, including encryption, secure coding, and software development in a secure environment is needed.
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing innovative features for Keeper Security’s core products, with a focus on kernel-level programming, AI, and new product concepts. They will develop and optimize low-level Windows code, improving system-level interactions, performance, and security for Keeper’s applications. This role involves designing solutions that interact closely with the operating system to enable advanced endpoint protection capabilities, collaborating closely with Product Management, Design, Security, and Operations teams to align software with business goals. The engineer will conduct thorough code reviews, define and enforce best practices for software development, and contribute to the design of robust, reusable components. Furthermore, they will drive innovation within the R&D space by exploring and integrating new tools, technologies, and algorithms, optimizing the performance and resource efficiency of Keeper’s software solutions, and staying current on emerging trends in software development and cybersecurity.
