  • Familiarity with code signing, notarization (e.g., @electron/notarize for Mac, esigner.js for Windows), and publishing to app stores
  • Experience with TypeScript, Vite, RxJS, and AWS for builds and crash reporting
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation for critical issues
  • Passion for best practices, mentoring, and delivering quality with agility in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Own the lifecycle of the desktop app, including publishing to app stores, code signing, notarization, and safe auto-updates for global users
  • Design and maintain robust CI pipelines (GitLab CI) and implement automated testing strategies for Electron, collaborating with QA
  • Safely navigate major Electron and Chromium version bumps, anticipating breaking changes and managing impacts on device management and memory usage
  • Debug and optimize application performance, focusing on memory leaks and CPU usage in desktop environments for high audio quality
  • Maintain and extend native integrations with USB telephony hardware for call control and presence features
  • Participate in on-call rotation to respond to critical system issues
  • Evangelize best practices, mentor team members, and ensure native-grade experience bridging web app and OS
