Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in React development
- Excellent proficiency in front-end technologies (ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, GraphQL, NextJS, webpack, babel, Jest, RTL and related frameworks)
- Extensive experience building web applications using MVC frameworks (ReactJS) for customer-facing applications
- Deep understanding of React, Node.JS and its core principles
- Experience in creating and/or consuming RESTful web services
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving capability
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools like Splunk, OpenObserve, Grafana etc
- Understanding of frontend security and performance
- Preferred: 3-7 years of experience in development of highly Responsive UIs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, NextJS, GraphQL
- Preferred: Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Preferred: Bachelor's / Masters degree in computer science or related discipline with minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience
Responsibilities
- Develop the front end experience of different features in walmart.com web application using front end web technologies
- Own the end-to-end delivery of shipping software to production
- Develop feature sets that involve Responsive UIs with Restful Services and ensure a seamless product experience
- Provide engineering patterns to deliver the optimal product, including implementing design patterns
- Work closely with peers and senior engineers/architects
- Partner with UX, product owners and business SMEs to analyze the business need and provide a supportable and sustainable engineered solution
- Ensure that the overall technical solution is aligned with the business needs
- Build reusable React components with Typescript and modular CSS
- Own the end-to-end delivery of shipping software at scale
- Measure and resolve performance bottlenecks, using tools like Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, Webpage test, or custom tooling
- Stay current with latest development tools, technology ideas, patterns and methodologies
- Share knowledge by clearly articulating results and ideas to key stakeholders
