Excellent written communication skills are necessary for remote collaboration, along with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
The Senior Software Engineer will maintain and enhance the image processing algorithms for Planet's Mosaic products, ensuring reliable and efficient global-scale data production. They will be responsible for ensuring timely data availability for customers, representing the Mosaics team in cross-team collaborations, and contributing to the team's technical direction. Additionally, they will mentor junior engineers.
