Requirements

  • Around 5-8 years of professional software development experience
  • Proven track record of leading complex technical projects and taking ownership of their outcomes
  • Demonstrable experience designing, building, and maintaining reliable, scalable, and highly available systems
  • Strong understanding of compiled, strictly-typed languages and a great grasp on design patterns
  • Familiar with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, and experience running containerized applications
  • Committed to code quality with experience in unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development
  • Knowledge of continuous integration, deployment, and delivery practices
  • Leverage AI development tools like Claude Code deliberately and effectively, understanding their limitations and maintaining accountability
