Software Engineer - Autonomous Vehicles

Position Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop and design software applications for a leading driverless technology company. This role is crucial in advancing autonomous vehicle development through robotics and machine learning tools.

Responsibilities

  • Build best-in-class robotics and machine learning tools for accelerating autonomous vehicles development.
  • Design and implement systems capable of simulating millions of miles of driving daily to predict on-road performance.
  • Measure improvements to our AV development toolchain to understand their impact on AV engineering productivity and core company metrics.
  • Drive software engineering best practices within your team and across the company.
  • Mentor, coach, and grow junior engineers.
  • Design and implement systems capable of deploying and coordinating fleets of thousands of autonomous vehicles on the road.
  • May telecommute.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and two years of work experience as a Software Engineer or a related occupation.
  • Alternative Education/Experience: Four years of work experience as a Software Engineer or a related occupation will be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree and two years of experience.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $185,400.00 - $205,000.00 Annually. Actual base compensation will vary based on relevant factors.
  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
