Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, along with two years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a related occupation. Alternatively, four years of work experience as a Software Engineer or in a related occupation will be considered. Required experience includes Typescript, Golang, Nodejs, HTML/CSS, unit/integration testing, algorithms and data structures, databases, version control, and systems design.
The Senior Software Engineer will develop and design software applications for driverless technology, focusing on building robotics and machine learning tools to accelerate autonomous vehicle development. Responsibilities include designing and implementing systems for simulating millions of driving miles daily, measuring improvements to the AV development toolchain, driving software engineering best practices, mentoring junior engineers, and designing/implementing systems for deploying and coordinating fleets of thousands of autonomous vehicles.
