Requirements

Bachelors or Masters’ degree in a Technology related field (Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in software application design & development
Experience with the following technologies: Java, Spring, Oracle db, SQL, REST APIs, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Cloud-based Microservices
Experience with build, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes and tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, etc.)
Experience with Agile development practices and the value they bring to development teams
Experience with automation test frameworks (e.g. Cucumber) and test-driven development
Financial Services industry experience preferred but not essential
Thrive in a team environment, collaborating openly with colleagues and communicating effectively
Passionate about the software development craft with interest in and flexibility to learn latest technologies and frameworks
Promote Agile development practices & continuous improvement
Enjoy resolving issues and/or identifying approaches to solutions
Strive to improve engineering, architectural and coding standards
Ability to work under minimum supervision and be a team player
Strong communication skills (oral and written)

Responsibilities

Be a senior member of a scrum team responsible for delivering key customer features
Work closely with the engineering lead, systems analysts, architects, and other developers to design, build, test, and deliver features for the Fidelity Baskets Platform
Deliver high quality, innovative and maintainable software solutions
Participate in Architecture & Application design
Mentorship of junior team members
Focus on customer: Demonstrate understanding of customer’s business domain
Continuously improve technical competency: Demonstrate knowledge and application of current technologies
