About the Role
The client team focuses on developing libraries for Kafka developers. These libraries will enable organizations to build scalable applications with high throughput and performance using Kafka as their central streaming platform.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to publicly visible, Confluent-maintained Open Source repositories focused on non-Java Kafka client libraries.
- Primarily build libraries using the C programming language, which also supports other popular language wrapper libraries.
- Address customer production or go-live issues by collaborating closely with global support teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years of industry experience in building applications using the C programming language.
- Experience in languages like .NET, Python, or JavaScript is considered an added advantage.
- Expertise in solving multi-threading issues and optimizing for memory leaks or other resource-related problems.
- Experience implementing security using OAuth, mTLS, RBAC, and ACLs.
