Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in building modern web applications with a recent focus on AI/ML technologies. Proficiency in programming languages such as Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Python, or Go is required, along with hands-on experience in AI-driven application development, data-focused backend development, and ETL processes. A strong background in SQL and RDBMS, particularly PostgreSQL, is essential, as are strong software engineering practices. A B.S. or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is necessary. Advanced proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is also required.
The Senior Software Engineer will develop and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems that are foundational to the product's functionality. They will determine the best ways to incorporate LLMs and other AI technologies into the platform and architect robust ETL pipelines for managing data. Ensuring the core functionality of the product is stable and continuously improving is crucial.
