Responsibilities

Conduct advanced research in AI and machine learning, staying current with advancements, exploring emerging technologies, and identifying applications for business problems
Design and architect AI solutions for complex problems, analyzing requirements and proposing ML models/algorithms while ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, including best practices, code/design reviews, and technical challenge resolution; participate in discussions and thought leadership
Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement AI/ML projects successfully
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in AI/ML practices, identifying improvements, exploring new techniques, and promoting best practices
Evaluate and integrate third-party tools/services to enhance AI solutions
Facilitate design review sessions for projects, ensuring alignment with requirements and best practices; mentor juniors during sessions
Collaborate with engineering manager and team lead to refine/iterate on design and implementation strategies, providing peer feedback
Participate in and coordinate meetings for effective team coordination and communication
Independently prepare and deliver detailed presentations/reports to stakeholders, translating complex concepts
Interpret and report data findings; maintain/update BI tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods
Design and develop solutions to complex application problems, system administration issues, or network concerns (where applicable)
