Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred
  • At least 3-5 years of experience
  • Experience working with ServiceNow ITOM functions and tools (e.g., Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CSDM)
  • Certifications in ServiceNow ITOM (e.g., Discovery, Service Mapping)
  • Experience with company products, services, documentation, and ServiceNow ITOM Management procedures
  • Experience developing complex ServiceNow ITOM Management implementations and organizational processes
  • ITOM integrations experience or knowledge (e.g., SailPoint, SAP, SCCM, Dynatrace)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Good personal computer and business solutions software skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain solutions within ServiceNow ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CSDM adherence, etc.)
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow ITOM modules, including scripting (JavaScript), workflow design, and UI modifications
  • Implement and maintain service maps and discovery schedules to ensure accurate and up-to-date configuration data
  • Configure event rules, alerts, and notifications within ServiceNow Event Management to automate incident creation and response
  • Interact with client management to answer questions, solve problems, and handle requests regarding complex system issues
  • Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel
