Requirements

Experience partnering closely with product and engineering teams on security
Ability to participate in implementation efforts, conduct security reviews, help with product design decisions, and audit vulnerabilities
Skills in developing and improving automated security tooling for code analysis pre- and post-deployment
Capability to define and build application guardrails to enable secure-by-default development
Experience instilling a culture of secure development across engineering teams
Ability to assist in security operations including incident response, vulnerability management, and penetration testing

Responsibilities

Partner with Product and Engineering teams during design and development to implement new features securely, including participating in implementation, security reviews, product design decisions, and auditing vulnerabilities
Develop and improve automated tooling to scale application security and detect code problems before and after deployment
Define and build application guardrails to make secure development the easy default
Instill a culture of secure development across the engineering organization
Assist in ongoing security operations, including incident response, vulnerability management, and penetration testing
