Requirements

  • Expert-level identity management: Demonstrated mastery of enterprise identity platforms and protocols, including Azure Active Directory, Ping, Okta, Active Roles, Cayosoft, and Microsoft Identity Manager
  • Deep expertise in identity and access management (IAM)
  • Ability to lead complex troubleshooting efforts in a global enterprise environment
  • Strategic mindset for threat mitigation, security within Tech Ops, and operational excellence
  • Willingness to work out of standard business hours occasionally

Responsibilities

  • Act as the final escalation point for identity and security incidents: Own and resolve the most complex and critical incidents that other teams cannot solve, providing leadership during high-severity events and coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Develop escalation frameworks: Design, implement, and refine the escalation management process for Global Technical Operations Center, ensuring efficient triage, documentation, and resolution
  • Conduct strategic troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring, complex problems, developing long-term solutions like automation and architectural changes
  • Mentor and uplevel the team: Serve as a technical leader, lead training on advanced security concepts, threat landscapes, and best practices, fostering continuous learning and operational excellence
  • Maintain and enhance knowledge of key technologies
  • Collaborate with security and identity architects to influence and enforce standards based on Zero Trust and Defense in Depth principles
  • Identify opportunities for network automation, scripting, and tool development to streamline operations
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on capacity and utilization; develop strategies for growth, capacity planning, and performance improvement
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and incident response protocols
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior management, on incident status, resolution plans, and issues; build partnerships with IT areas, vendors, and business units
  • Mentor and lead the team to attract and retain talent, promoting an inclusive environment
