Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Statistics and have at least 11 years of experience in Biostatistics. Proficiency in SAS programming is required, along with good R programming skills and a very good understanding of a broad range of statistical methodologies and ICH E9 Statistical Principles for Clinical Trials. Excellent English communication, MS Office Suite proficiency, and strong professional attributes such as trustworthiness, prioritization, quality focus, and a willingness to learn are also essential.

Responsibilities

The Senior Principal Biostatistician is responsible for managing assigned projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables, and maintaining effective communication with clients and internal teams. Key duties include preparing and reviewing Statistical Analysis Plans, writing statistical methodology and results sections for reports, providing statistical input for protocols and Case Report Forms, and conducting statistical reviews of clinical trial outputs. The role also involves performing sample size calculations, supporting Data Monitoring Committees (DMC/DSMB), writing and reviewing scientific articles, creating SAS/R programs for data validation, managing technical client communications, and training staff and clients on statistical principles. Additionally, the position involves overseeing statistical documents for quality, supporting audits, reviewing baseline estimations and project plans, and advising on statistical methodology.
