Requirements

  • Understanding of barcode automation cells setup by material numbers produced in Injection Molding Press Machines
  • Recipe selection from HMI
  • Understanding of the theory of operation for each equipment center
  • Ability to troubleshoot setup issues
  • Ability to reset machine faults
  • Ability to track downtime and reasons
  • Ability to communicate and escalate machine-related issues
  • Ability to adjust guide rails to the size of the box running
  • Ability to adjust case sealer settings to the size of the box running
  • Ability to maintain established quality processes and escalate non-conformities
  • Ensures compliance with work instructions and quality documentation
  • Ability to communicate daily expectations, status, and issues with Mold Technicians
  • Ability to pull work orders and track completions
  • Capable of performing Microsoft AX transfers ensuring inventory accuracy
  • Ability to maintain a safe, clean work area and follow safety guidelines and 5S
  • Ability to perform cleaning (Autonomous Maintenance) of equipment centers
  • Ability to label boxes or cartons
  • Ability to communicate daily box quantity needs to box making
  • Ability to place boxes or cartons on correct pallet
  • Supports Root Cause Analysis of safety incidents, quality incidents, and production inefficiencies
  • Leadership: Supports culture of excellence, drives Daily Performance Goals, supports compliance with policies/procedures, communicates effectively, trains new personnel

Responsibilities

  • Setup and operation of automated packaging equipment
  • Setup and operation of case sealing equipment
  • Palletization of finished good boxes
  • Follow safe work practices, ensure quality product, and control inventory within assigned area
  • Drive output and activities of the work area and other priorities set by Injection Molding Supervisor
  • Ensures correct setup of barcode automation cells
  • Communicate and escalate all machine-related issues
  • Maintain established quality processes
  • Communicate daily expectations, current status, and arising issues with Mold Technicians
  • Pull work orders and track completions
  • Perform Microsoft AX transfers for inventory accuracy
  • Maintain safe, clean work area and follow safety guidelines and 5S
  • Cleaning of all equipment centers as defined or needed
  • Labeling of boxes or cartons
  • Communicate daily box quantity needs to box making
  • Place boxes or cartons of product on correct pallet
  • Support Root Cause Analysis of safety, quality, and production issues
  • Leadership: Support culture of excellence, drive Daily Performance Goals, support policy/procedure compliance, communicate effectively, train new personnel
