Requirements

Candidates should have 7+ years of professional mobile software engineering experience with significant iOS expertise, proven experience shipping and maintaining commercial iOS applications at scale, and deep knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and the iOS ecosystem. A strong understanding of modern architectures like MVVM and reactive programming, experience with RxSwift or Combine, a commitment to testing and quality, and a strong eye for clean iOS design and UX are also required. Preferred qualifications include experience in healthcare, a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field, experience making product and design decisions, knowledge of computer security and protecting sensitive data, and some exposure to Android or cross-platform development.

Responsibilities

The Senior Mobile Engineer will lead the technical roadmap and architecture of the Circle Medical iOS app, implement, test, and maintain patient-facing features with a focus on security, scalability, and performance, and collaborate with design, product, and clinical teams to create intuitive user experiences. They will also maintain and improve the CI/CD release pipeline for reliable weekly releases, write secure, HIPAA-compliant software, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to hiring, culture, and best practices.
