Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, develop interpersonal skills for customer service, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage
  • Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications (e.g., cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping), ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management, and operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
  • Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, elevate associate engagement, utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, adapt to new tools, and encourage others to use them
  • Drive business results, ensure commitment to operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain work area according to company policies and procedures, ensure quality and standards for high-volume meat products, eliminate waste, secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored
  • Act as a Talent Ambassador by advocating for the department and club, valuing members' experience, modeling high-quality service and products, executing basics at the highest level of quality, interacting with associates to understand roadblocks, and assisting in training them for job-related duties
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying them in business processes
